Carolina studied Agronomy in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile,
with a major in winemaking. She also studied a semester in France at the
École Supérieure d’Agriculture Purpan. Her thesis was on Sauvignon Blanc,
and was ranked as the number one research paper by the Chilean
Association of Winemakers. During 2010 she continued her studies with a
viticultural program at the Universidad de Chile.
Carolina has worked in renowned wineries in Chile including Casa Marín,
based in San Antonio Valley as well as Morande, which has properties in
Casablanca, Maipo and Cachapoal Valley. During 2008 Carolina did a
harvest internship in the Loire Valley, France with the very well respected
Didier Dagueneau, working in Pouilly and Sancerre, where she was able to
further increase her knowledge on Sauvignon Blanc.
With all her knowledge, professionalism and passion for wines Carolina
joined Viña Arboleda as the Winemaker on 2010.

Carolina is fluent in English and French, enjoys singing, cooking, passionate
for nature, reason why she spends many of her weekends exploring
different hills in the Andes Mountains.
